Microlit Lilpet is a miniature fixed volume micropipette. It is a low-cost liquid handling instrument that offers high precision and accuracy. Designed by our in-house team of product design engineers, it offers two-step plunger operation. They are optimal for both routine laboratory work and for use with diagnostic test kits. The ergonomic and intuitive design of these minipet helps in performing sensitive operations with high accuracy, reliability in practical lab situations. They come in 10 different volume ranges and are very handy to use.

The error limits (Accuracy and Coefficient of Variation) mentioned above are in accordance with the nominal capacity (or maximum volume) indicated on the instrument. These are obtained by using the instrument with distilled water at equilibrium, the ambient temperature of 20 °C while operating it smoothly and steadily. The error limits are in accordance with DIN EN ISO 8655-2.

Product FAQs

The single-step and double step lilpet come with single and double piston strokes respectively. In a single step, the plunger is depressed till the FIRST stop only which is the lowest-most position for aspiration as well as dispensing the liquid. While in double step, to aspirate the liquid the plunger is depressed till the FIRST step only, and to dispense the plunger is depressed till the SECOND step to ensure that the last drop is dispensed. The double step lilpet facilitates the reverse pipetting and reduces the loss of liquid dispensed, thereby enhancing the accuracy of the pipette. These features allow the usage of the pipette for test kits.
Fixed volume pipettes are designed for accurate and precise sampling and dispensing only the nominal volume. These are ideal pipettes to work with viscous or dense liquid and dispense the same quantity of the liquid every time, unlike variable volume pipettes. They allow the user to work at a faster pace and reduces the chances of manual error that may occur due to any accidental volume change with the variable volume pipettes.
